Facilities and Booking Arrangements.

The Village Hall is situated in the High Street, and consists of a large hall with a stage, a kitchen and a committee room.  There are toilet facilities in the entrance hall, refurbished to a high standard in 2016 to include excellent facilities for disabled users, and at the rear of the committee room.  The hall is regularly used by a variety of village societies, together with aerobics and dance groups and the local drama group. Each organisation using the hall on a regular basis is issued with a key.

The hall is run by a Management Committee, including representatives of the Parish Council, and representatives from the various groups in the village.

The Orwell Village Hall Management Committee consists of three officers:

The hall is a registered charity, and the committee makes an Annual Return to the Charity Commissioners.  This hall belongs to the village of Orwell, and the committee urges everyone in the parish to use the hall for group use and for entertainment and private functions too.

The committee is grateful for the support of the Parish Council in helping to keep the hall in good repair.
