Our Christmas concert 2019

Our stated aim is ‘to provide an enjoyable opportunity for people to sing a wide repertoire of music, both secular and non-secular’.

We are a very friendly group and we now meet at 7.45pm on Monday evenings in Barrington Village Hall where we have more space for our growing numbers.

Our members come not only from Orwell and other surrounding villages but also from Cambridge and Royston. At the moment the choir consists of 15 sopranos, 15 altos, 4 basses and 6 tenors. You do not need to be able to read music (as long as you can sing!) and we do not audition new members.

We put on a Christmas Concert in December, a Sring concert in March and a Summer Concert in late June/July.  These include a wide range of music of various styles, a bit of audience participation, fun items and songs from the shows.

Our Summer Concert 2023 will be held on Saturday 8th July in Orwell Village Hall.
